{Wedding Series::101} Seasonal Flower Guide

Today, we are continuing our wedding series 101 with flowers. It's not uncommon for brides to plan their weddings around their favorite flowers. Actually, I think it is quite brilliant if you are a lover of flowers just like me :) Some favorite seasonal flowers are: peonies, anemones, dahlias, poppies and sunflowers are just a few. Today, I am sharing some great and beautiful seasonal flowers for weddings that are sure to make you blush.

So let's talk seasons for a bit and flower varieties that are a favorite for each. With the growing technology and advancements every year in the flower industry varieties are becoming more available year round. There are always exceptions to the seasonal varieties because of the varied climates and the growers availability that may limit certain blooms. The good news is that flowers that were lim
ited a few years ago and only available during certain months are becoming available year round like: tulips, hydrangeas, orchids and more.

SPRING
Here are some favorite spring flowers that are sure to make your big day beautiful: 
Daffodil, Hyacinth, Lily of the Valley, Ranunculus, Anemone and Cherry Blossoms. 


SUMMER
Summer weddings have some of my favorite flowers to play with and include: 
Peony, Poppy, Allium, Clematis and Sweet Pea. 


AUTUMN 
During the Fall months some beautiful blooms are available in deeper and rich colors:
Dahlia, Sunflower, Celosia, Scabious, Sedum and Kale


WINTER
Don't think cause you have a winter wedding it can't be bold and beautiful. 
Some of my favorite flowers: Amaryllis, Hellebore, Leucadendron, Hollyberry and Narcissus


YEAR ROUND
Alstormeria, Anthurium, Aster, Calla Lilly, Carnations, Chrysanthemumum, Daisy, Delphinium, Freesia, Gerbera Daisy, Glads, Hydrangea, Iris, Asiatic Lilies, Oriental Lilies, Lisianthus, Orchids, Queen Ann's Lace, Rose, Spray Rose, Snapdragon, Spider Mum, Statice, Stephanotis, Stock, Tulip and Veronica
